Flatline
Flatline is the extended version of Heart Stop Beating, directed by Jeremiah Zagar and produced by Union HZ. It shows Billy Cohn building the heart pump in his garage and it includes an new ending that answers some of the lingering questions from the original short. Snip from vimeo:
The film tells the story of two visionary doctors from the Texas Heart Institute, Bud Frazier and Billy Cohn, who successfully replaced a dying man’s heart with a rotor-driven device of their own design—proving that life is possible without a pulse or a heartbeat.
